Matt has been in the building industry for over 25 years. Throughout this time Matt has been exposed to all areas within the industry and he carries an extensive level of expertise and craftsmanship. Matt is passionate about, and responsible for the work that takes place on your building site….and he is there to ensure the process of building your own home is as smooth as possible.
Damien holds a Certificate 4 in Building and Construction. Known by the Team as “Damo,” he has over 14 years of industry experience. As the Onsite Manager, he brings extensive expertise in residential and commercial builds, framing, concreting, and landscaping to the forefront of every project. After 10 years with the Team, Damien stepped into a Director position in 2023.
Mick entered the industry as a carpenter and has now been in this diverse industry for over 45 years. Mick is highly skilled in design and ensuring that the experience of building your own home is nothing but positive and exciting. Mick can assist in the earlier stages of your Horizon journey by breaking down exactly what you need to know about building your dream home.
Duncan is a fully qualified carpenter, bringing 15 years of experience to the Team. Having been a key member of Horizon for a decade, he thrives on the variety and challenge that each project brings, embracing the opportunity to tackle something fresh and exciting at every turn. Bully’s passion for carpentry is matched by his appreciation for the close-knit, family-like atmosphere at Horizon, where dedication to excellence is of upmost importance.
Matthew holds a Certificate 3 in Carpentry and has worked for Matt for 13 years. He loves the fact that Horizon is a family environment and that they build strong, quality homes. He enjoys the fact that no two days at work are the same! Every day is different and the work is exciting and diverse. Borgy admires the fact that Matt passes on many great and refined skills to his Crew and that he is a super loyal to not only his workers, but also his contractors and clients.
Reece has progressed in the building industry and is now a fourth-year apprentice with us. He contributes to our team in a variety of ways while completing his apprenticeship and becoming a fully qualified tradesman. Reece is enjoying the endless opportunities to learn on the job and is excited by the diversity of work he has been exposed to already. He loves working alongside the Crew to deliver high-quality work for our clients.
